MUDO

Three artists on stage – Maria Morais, Zé Branco, and Rodolfo Castro – perform a live sound intervention on the 1911 film “Os Crimes de Diogo Alves”. Given the absence of dialogue in silent films, the creation of a sound script opens infinite paths for imagination, creative play, exploration, and wonder. A crossing between cinema, literature, theatre, oral storytelling, and music. The result is a performance with its own language and multiple possibilities for interpretation.
